Instructions
Prepare the Cake:

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, mix together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Cream Butter and Add Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy. Add the milk, eggs, and vanilla extract, beating until well combined.
Combine Ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Bake the Cake: Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the cakes cool completely in the pans before transferring to a wire rack.
Make the Chocolate Drip:

Heat Cream: In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it begins to boil.
Prepare Chocolate: Place the chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate and let it sit for 2 minutes.
Mix Until Smooth: Stir until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture is smooth.
Assemble the Cake:

Layer the Cake: Place one cake layer on a serving plate. Spread half of the mixed berry compote over the top. Place the second cake layer on top.
Frost with Compote: Frost the entire cake with the remaining berry compote.
Add Chocolate Drip: Drizzle the chocolate ganache over the top of the cake, allowing it to drip down the sides.
Garnish and Serve:

Decorate: Top the cake with fresh berries, dust with powdered sugar, and add mint leaves.
Slice and Enjoy: Serve slices of the cake and enjoy the blend of flavors!
