This Ultimate Bacon Cheeseburger Sandwich

This Ultimate Bacon Cheeseburger Sandwich is what dreams are made of
Ingredients:

• 1 lb ground beef (80/20 lean-to-fat ratio)
• 8 slices of thick-cut bacon
• 8 slices of sharp cheddar cheese
• 8 slices of brioche or sourdough bread
• 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
• Salt and black pepper, to taste

Directions:

Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove from the skillet and place on paper towels to drain. Set aside.
In a bowl, mix the ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Divide into 4 equal portions and form into flat patties.

In the same skillet used for the bacon, cook the patties over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes per side, or until your desired doneness. Top each patty with a slice of cheddar cheese in the final minute of cooking to melt.

Spread softened butter on one side of each bread slice. Toast the bread, buttered side down, in a clean skillet over medium heat until golden brown.
Layer one slice of toasted bread, buttered side down, with a cooked beef patty, an extra slice of cheddar, 2 bacon strips, and a second slice of bread (buttered side up).

Repeat the layering to create the stacked sandwich effect, if desired, securing with toothpicks to stabilize.
Grill each assembled sandwich on the skillet for an additional 2 minutes per side, pressing gently to ensure the cheese melts completely.
Serve immediately while warm and gooey.
