Mississippi Sin Dip
Ingredients
1 loaf of French bread (unsliced)
8 oz cream cheese, softened
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup sour cream
1 cup diced ham (or cooked bacon for a twist)
1 small can (4 oz) diced green chilies, drained
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Dash of hot sauce (optional, for a kick)
Directions
1. Prep the Bread:
Slice off the top of the French bread and hollow out the center, creating a bowl. Save the bread you removed for dipping.
2. Mix the Dip:
In a large bowl, mix the cream cheese, sour cream, shredded cheddar, diced ham, green chilies, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce. Stir until everything is creamy and well-combined.
3. Fill the Bread:
Spoon the mixture into your hollowed-out bread bowl.
4. Bake:
Wrap the entire loaf in foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 45 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly.
5. Serve:
Remove the foil, and place the bread bowl on a platter. Surround it with the leftover bread chunks or crackers for dipping
