Irresistible Pepperoni Pizza Monkey Bread
Ingredients:
2 cans refrigerated biscuit dough (16.3 oz each)
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup mini pepperoni slices (or chopped regular pepperoni)
2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a bundt pan or a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
2. Prepare the Dough:
Cut each biscuit into quarters.
In a large mixing bowl, toss the biscuit pieces with mozzarella, Parmesan, pepperoni, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and red pepper flakes.
3. Combine with Butter:
Pour the melted butter over the biscuit mixture and gently toss to coat evenly.
4. Layer in the Pan:
Transfer the coated biscuit mixture into the prepared pan. Spread evenly, ensuring there’s an even distribution of cheese and pepperoni throughout.
5. Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 30–35 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. You can cover with foil during the last 10 minutes if the top is browning too quickly.
6. Cool & Serve:
Let the monkey bread cool in the pan for 5–10 minutes before inverting it onto a serving plate or dish.
Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
Tips:
Add other toppings like chopped olives, diced bell peppers, or cooked sausage for extra flavor.
For extra cheesiness, sprinkle a little more mozzarella on top during the last 5 minutes of baking.
