Sweet & Savory Honey Garlic Chicken
Irresistibly sticky and succulent chicken coated in a rich honey-garlic glaze. Perfect for a cozy dinner!
Ingredients:
1 lb chicken thighs (boneless, skinless)
1/4 cup honey
2 tbsp soy sauce (low sodium)
1 tbsp olive oil
4 garlic cloves (minced)
1 tsp ginger (minced)
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tbsp green onions (chopped, for garnish)
Sesame seeds (for garnish, optional)
Directions:
Prepare Chicken: Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper on both sides.
Sear Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned, about 4-5 minutes on each side. Remove from skillet and set aside.
Make Sauce: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and ginger. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in honey and soy sauce, stirring to combine.
Glaze Chicken: Return chicken to the skillet, coating each piece with the sauce. Simmer for another 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens and the chicken is fully cooked.
Serve: Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Enjoy with rice or steamed veggies!
