Sizzling Chinese Pepper Steak with Onions 

**Ingredients:**

– 1 lb flank or sirloin steak, thinly sliced
– 2 tablespoons soy sauce
– 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
– 1 tablespoon cornstarch
– 1/2 teaspoon sugar
– 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided
– 1 green bell pepper, sliced
– 1 red bell pepper, sliced
– 1 medium onion, sliced
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 1/4 cup beef broth
– Salt and pepper, to taste

**Instructions:**

1. **Marinate the Steak**: In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and sugar. Add sliced steak and marinate for 10-15 minutes.

2. **Sear the Steak**: Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a skillet or wok over high heat. Add the steak and cook until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

3. **Sauté Vegetables**: Add remaining oil to the skillet. Sauté bell peppers, onions, and garlic until tender-crisp, about 3-4 minutes.

4. **Combine and Simmer**: Return steak to skillet, pour in beef broth, and stir to combine. Cook for another 2 minutes, until everything is heated through and the sauce thickens slightly.

5. **Serve**: Garnish with additional pepper if desired. Serve hot with rice or noodles.
