Crunchy Butterfinger Balls
Deliciously creamy peanut butter balls with a Butterfinger crunch, dipped in chocolate—a perfect bite-sized treat!
Ingredients:
• 1 cup creamy peanut butter
• 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
• 2 cups powdered sugar
• 1 cup crushed Butterfinger candy bars
• 2 cups chocolate chips (milk or semi-sweet)
• 1 tablespoon coconut oil or vegetable shortening (optional, for smoother dipping)
Directions:
1. Make the Filling: In a medium bowl, beat together the peanut butter and softened butter until smooth and creamy. Gradually mix in powdered sugar until a dough forms.
2. Add Butterfinger Crunch: Fold in the crushed Butterfinger pieces until evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
3. Shape the Balls: Scoop out about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and roll into a ball. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
4. Chill: Place the tray in the freezer for about 20-30 minutes, or until the balls are firm.
5. Melt Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil in 20-30 second increments, stirring in between, until smooth.
6. Dip Butterfinger Balls: Using a fork or toothpick, dip each ball into the melted chocolate, letting any excess chocolate drip off. Place back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
7. Set and Serve: Allow the chocolate to set by chilling in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes. Enjoy!
