Decadent Molten Chocolate Lava Cakes
Ingredients:
1/2 cup unsalted butter
4 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped
2 large eggs
2 large egg yolks
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Powdered sugar, for dusting
Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, for serving
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease four 6-ounce ramekins and dust with cocoa powder.
In a double boiler or a heatproof bowl set over simmering water, melt the butter and bittersweet chocolate together. Stir until smooth and remove from heat.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, egg yolks, granulated sugar, and salt until the mixture becomes thick and pale.

Gently fold the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture. Add the flour and mix until just combined.
Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins.
Place the ramekins on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are firm but the center is still slightly jiggly.
Let the cakes cool for 1 minute, then run a knife around the edges to loosen. Invert each cake onto a plate and dust with powdered sugar. Serve immediately with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
