White Chocolate Strawberry Cream Donuts
Ingredients
For the Donuts:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup whole milk
2 large eggs
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Filling:
1 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 cup strawberry jam
1/2 cup chopped strawberries
For the Topping:
1/2 cup white chocolate, melted
Pink food coloring (optional)
Directions
Preheat: Set oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan with non-stick spray.
Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Mix Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, combine milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
Combine & Bake: Gradually add wet ingredients to the dry mixture, stirring until just combined. Fill the donut pan halfway with batter. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let donuts cool completely.
Prepare Filling: In a bowl, whip heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in strawberry jam and chopped strawberries.
Assemble Donuts: Slice each donut in half horizontally. Fill with the strawberry cream mixture.
Add Topping: Drizzle melted white chocolate over each donut. For a touch of color, add a few drops of pink food coloring to the melted chocolate before drizzling.
Serve: Let the donuts set for a few minutes, then enjoy!
