Garlic Butter Shrimp
Ingredients:
1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
3 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup heavy cream
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Optional: a pinch of paprika or chili flakes for extra spice
Instructions:
1. Prep Shrimp: Rinse and pat dry the shrimp.
2. Cook Garlic: In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
3. Cook Shrimp: Add the shrimp to the skillet. Season with salt, pepper, and optional spices. Sauté for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they turn pink.
4. Add Cream and Butter: Lower the heat and add the remaining butter and heavy cream. Stir until the sauce thickens slightly and coats the shrimp.
5. Garnish: Sprinkle fresh parsley on top and serve hot with bread or over pasta.
