Spicy Octopus Ramen Recipe
Ingredients:
200g ramen noodles
150g octopus tentacles (sliced)
4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
2 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp chili flakes (adjust to taste)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1-inch ginger (grated)
1/2 cup spinach or bok choy (optional)
Green onions (chopped, for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Prepare Broth: In a pot, add chicken or vegetable broth and bring to a simmer. Add gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and chili flakes. Stir until well combined and simmer for 5 minutes.
2. Cook Octopus: Add sliced octopus to the broth and cook for 3-4 minutes until tender. Be careful not to overcook, as octopus can become rubbery.
3. Cook Noodles: In a separate pot, cook ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
4. Combine and Serve: Add cooked noodles to the broth with octopus. Let the noodles soak in the flavors for a minute.
