Longhorn-Inspired Parmesan Crusted Chicken
Enjoy this tender, juicy chicken breast topped with a crispy, cheesy Parmesan crust, inspired by Longhorn Steakhouse’s famous recipe!
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp paprika
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Directions:
Season & Sear the Chicken: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In an oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken breasts and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from heat.
Prepare the Topping: In a bowl, mix Parmesan, provolone (or mozzarella), panko breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and paprika until well combined.
Add the Parmesan Crust: Spread the Parmesan mixture generously over the top of each chicken breast.
Bake: Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the topping is golden and bubbly.
Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with your favorite side dish.
