Philly Cheese Steak Casserole
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 onion, diced
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup heavy cream
2 cups shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
3 large eggs
2 tbsp olive oil
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
Add diced bell pepper, onion, and mushrooms to the skillet. Sauté until vegetables are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well and remove from heat.
In a large bowl, whisk together heavy cream, eggs, and Parmesan cheese until smooth.
Add the cooked beef and vegetable mixture to the bowl and stir to combine.
Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and the casserole is set.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
