Baked Garlic Butter Shrimp

Ingredients:

1 lb (500g) large shrimp or prawns, peeled and deveined
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
3 cloves garlic, finely minced
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional, for a slight kick)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
Lemon wedges, for serving



Directions:

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, paprika, chili flakes (if using), salt, and black pepper. Stir well.
Arrange the shrimp in a single layer in a large baking dish.

Drizzle the garlic butter mixture evenly over the shrimp, ensuring they are well coated.
Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque. Avoid overcooking.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley.

Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side for a burst of citrus flavor.
