Lazy Pecan Pie Bars Recipes
Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup honey
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, flour, granulated sugar, and salt. Stir until a crumbly dough forms.
Press the dough evenly into the prepared pan, creating a smooth layer. Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly golden.
In another bowl, whisk together brown sugar, honey, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth. Fold in chopped pecans.
Pour the pecan mixture over the baked crust, spreading it evenly.
Return the pan to the oven and bake for 25–30 minutes or until the filling is set and slightly bubbling at the edges.
Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan. Once cool, use the parchment overhang to lift the bars out of the pan and onto a cutting board.
Cut into squares and enjoy!
