Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp mustard
1 can (8 count) crescent roll dough
3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Prepare the Filling
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 2-3 minutes.
Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1 more minute.
Mix in the cooked bacon, ketchup, and mustard. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
3. Assemble the Rollups
Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.
Place a spoonful of the beef mixture onto the wide end of each triangle. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
Roll up the dough tightly, starting at the wide end and tucking in the sides as you go.
4. Make Garlic Butter
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with garlic powder and parsley.
5. Bake
Brush the rollups with the garlic butter and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
6. Serve
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with parsley if desired, and serve with your favorite dipping sauces like ranch, ketchup, or garlic aioli.
Enjoy your cheesy, buttery, bacon-packed treat!
